    Serious question. Why link the athletic teams to the schools? Make them all club and play wherever you want and they want you. Rent the schools facilities and rent their mascot name if you want.     DeKalb - Montini

    Just take a look at their schedule and results. DeKalb won their conference, but in a down year and in less than dominant fashion. They are a decent team, but in no way in Montini's class. Unless Montini backs off it will be a running clock.

    I haven't seen Sterling play, but I have looked at their results to date. I have seen Kaneland and Sycamore. I would focus on the Sycamore game, as I think that will by far be the tougher of the two potential games. Kaneland plays hard, but doesn't have the horses like what we have become...

    Your thoughts on the IHSA-TV coverage of the State finals?

    Wanted to watch but couldn't as it wasn't on free TV. Yes, there are many of us out here who don't have cable. I guess the IHSA makes more money this way, but it is shame that it isn't on free TV.
