    I believe trying to force Skal to be a back to the basket big the next season when it was obvious that it would not work, and then continuing to play bigs and forwards in that fashion, ultimately hurt recruiting much more than platooning. I never bought into platooning playing much of a factor...

    He is definitely a trailblazer for none and dones at UK. In a couple of years we will have five walk on starters and six top 10 draft picks that spend the semester on the bench but will set a new first round record for draft picks after the season! 🙃

    I usually don’t actively root against any but don’t root for them either, same with football. Every other SEC fan base seems to hope we lose in the tournament so I never understood why UK fans pull for other teams in the NCAA, bowl games, or CFP.

    There were several times it seemed to be the case but really knew when the Zion, Barrett team waxed us. You could tell the days of elite of the elite talent at UK had passed and likely teams that would be top caliber from game one of the season as well.
