Does it make any sense to fire Schiano right now or wait until the end of the season? If you were AD, what is your plan?

Fire Kirk. No feel for the game, no feel for his players. Anyone could tell you Lonergan is not the type of player to run that 4th down play, yet Kirk calls it because Kirk is incapable of making any game time adjustments or coming up with any type of unique play that fits his players. And what...

Football GAMEDAY THREAD: Rutgers versus Indiana

If they had just thrown it up for grabs to Duff, I could live with that. Instead it’s the same crappy 4th down plays that never work.

This staff is done. Tired, old, and boring.

Football GAMEDAY THREAD: Rutgers versus Indiana

I’m so f’ing sick and tired of Kirk’s play calling on offense. Cannot wait for him to be fired.

Hmm…watching Surace in year 3 has me thinking maybe Kirk isn’t really a QB guru.

Football Rutgers Football blows out Howard for first win of season

My hope is that Kirk doesn't do his usual, let's just run three plays since it's an inferior opponent and then we panic when we're only up by 14 at half. Free the playbook.

Team has some parts. Just don’t know if they can overcome the absolutely awful coaching.

Greg 2.0 never recovered from the timeout disaster vs Illinois

That whole season was the beginning of the end. But what made that play worse, was his post game comments. I expected him to come up talking about how it was his fault, he made the call but really should have allowed the kick giving the context. Not get on his knees begging for forgiveness but...

Football Rutgers ranks 14th in Big Ten in estimated roster spending, 46th nationally

It's not NIL but poor coaching. Was happy with Schiano in the beginning - fine with the hire then. Thought he got us back to not being a laughing stock. That said, I just feel as if the game has passed him by and his loyalty to Kirk has been a mistake. You have a young QB making their first...

    Weather Thread for USC

That weather wouldn’t matter, Schiano still gonna call a time out to ice the kicker.

    Oklahoma State

Good point. That’s been my complaint of Schiano 2.0. It’s felt old and unoriginal. Following what other teams are doing without any consideration of other factors for that success. Hey, that team looked good, and they got a bunch of transfers from a lower level school so let’s do that. Without...

    Oklahoma State

That's what good coaches do, they find a tendency in the other team that helps them. Then they design a game plan to take advantage of that tendency. Joe said the same thing about us. Unfortunately, we have a HC and OC that have no feel for the game and believe calling the same scripted plays...

Just brutal. Why, why did I purchase the USC tickets before the season.

Should be 20-20. If you’re going to take risks, how about trying it on 1st and 10.
