I think you miss the point. The whole reason behind Opportunity Vanderbilt is so that any parent, wealthy or not, can send their kid to Vanderbilt. Yes, you'll have to bear some of the cost, but OV provides all or practically all of the cost if family income is <$40, to about half for incomes...
