If I have 85 players on scholarship and I really want someone else I can have them “walk on” with a NIL deal that’s worth as much as a scholarship or more.     Saban should be fired and Alabama fined/sanctioned but nothing will happen. I used respect Saban but my mind has changed. Had Harrell entered the portal freely then no problem (other than I would have been disappointed that he left), but this is unacceptable (though I suspect quite common).
