    OT: Burying a Pet Sucks

Lots of wonderful and beautiful stories in this thread. Working as a veterinarian, it's always so hard when the time comes to have to put down someone's beloved companion. Just this past Wednesday, I had to put down my lab of 12 years. He was the best damn dog I've ever had. I cried like a...

    OT: feeding chocolate to dogs

I didn't read all the responses, but wanted to chime in since I am a vet. Dog is toxic to dogs, but as some have alluded to, they have to eat quite a bit to enter the realm of being fatal. Also depends on the type. Milk chocolate < dark chocolate < cocoa powder, etc My 12# dachshund ate one of...

Lebatard Show is on fire. Stugotz is on a lie detector.

I have grown really fond of the Lebatard Show. I'll admit that right after Cowherd left ESPN and they but Lebatard and Stugotz on his place, I wasn't all that happy with it. I thought they rambled too much and didn't talk about sports enough. But lately I have found myself enjoying the show more...

    Ryan LaSource

This family attends the same church as myself. Heartbreaking news today. The faith they have displayed over the last 3 years has been amazing. They need prayers in the biggest way right now! I can only find comfort in knowing that Ryanman is embraced in Jesus's arms now.

HUMP DAY: No shut down for Humps, still open, still awesome, still NSFW!

In the episode, Jerry, Elaine, George, and Kramer make a bet on who can "withhold" the longest. Kramer lasts for about 10 minutes. That's him slamming down the money he had put up on the bet.

OT: Walking Dead ...within the hour

The reason they blew the question off is because it was a dumb question. They explained at the end of Season 2 that everyone is infected and that when you die, you turn, regardless of whether or not a walker killed you or bit you or whatever. Shane dying and coming back a walker proved that...

So wardlaw is moving to South Carolina..

The reason he is moving is that his wife, a veterinarian specializing in surgery who currently works at the MSU vet school, has accepted a new job in South Carolina. That doesn't answer the question of how he can run the site from another state, but it's why he is leaving.

Anyone see Ohio State/Urban Meyer training camp special?

I've seen some of those as well. Definitely a lot of similarities. The latest one showed him pulling out air mattresses for the players to sleep on in between practices so that they didn't have to go back to their apartment, etc. Undoubtedly another idea that Mullen used while the team was out...
