    JCA score?

I thought WWS was 7A. They have a good team this year and played Batavia and Geneva tough.

    LWE 31 OPRF 7 Final

Does anyone know how bad the injuries to LeFevour and Cawthon are and if they'll be back for a possible MC game? Cavanaugh also went out with an injury in this one. LWE has some depth, but LeFevour and Cawthon being out is brutal.

Any scenario where Loyola and Mt Carmel don't play in the state championship???

    I hope you are right

Any scenario where Loyola and Mt Carmel don't play in the state championship???

MC dominated LWE in the playoffs last year. Will LWE be super motivated this year? Yes, and it's Coach Z's last year, which will add a bit more motivation for the LWE. Will MC be a little overconfident after that dominating performance against LWE last year? I hope so. If LWE plays an error-free...

    Playoff Predictions

They did, but man, Rice's d-line is tough; they really dominated much of the game. Also, Rice's senior QB started that game and threw a couple of picks that let LWE keep it close early on. In that game, McGee was cramping up and out for most of the second half for Rice, which really opened...

    Playoff Predictions

While I'd love to see LWE win state again, and this team has grit and is more like the older LWE teams, with less star power, but a couple of explosive players, the lines of MC and Loyola are monsters. Can LWE hold up with decent pass protection, and can they run against those lines, especially...

The Official Unbiased Top 10 end of regular season

Does anyone know if Shaw is accurate with their pairing predictions? Assuming both win, LWE will MC in the second game/third round, a brutal draw. I was hoping one of Loyola or MC would knock the other out before getting LWE.

    MC Traveling to Loyola

I was wondering who I should cheer for here to make sure Loyola and MC end up on the other side of the bracket from LWE.

The Official Unbiased Top Ten week 8

ESL is a different beast; they operate like a private, and I'm not trying to take anything away from that program. It's pretty incredible.

The Official Unbiased Top Ten week 8

Stacked relative to public schools (not named ESL): Williams, Alexander, Gish, LaDere, and LaVista. There's also Hallman and Cawthon, and a couple of others who are still there. But agreed, not compared to ESL/BR/MC.

The Official Unbiased Top Ten week 8

True, aside from last year, when they were stacked, but we all know how that ended. This year's team has been a pleasant surprise, and the coaching, as always, is solid. Is this Coach Z's last year? I've heard rumors but have not seen anything confirmed. He's only 55, and I would love to see...

The Official Unbiased Top Ten week 8

-Way East lost a ton from last year, so they have lots of new starters, and it took a few games to pull it together on offense. That said, they aren't packed with D1 players this year, so getting past MC and Loyola in the playoffs will not be easy.

What did we learn week 7!?!?!

Even with a couple injuries, their talent level is insane. Hope they don't pull it all together this year.

    LWE 42 LWC 0

Was hoping LWE would win this, but thought it would be much closer. East seems to be hitting its stride; it will need to keep improving to have a shot in 8A this year. Not bad for what was expected to be a down year for East by most, including myself.

What Game are you Most Interested in this Upcoming Weekend?

LWE vs LW Central, I wish they played every year. I'm curious to see if East dominates, or if Central can put up a good fight and make this a game.
