    Dickie Dee's in Newark is another good one. But at 2 am when the bars closed, JJ's or Eddie dogs were the go to spot. Met Rick Cerone with Luis Tiant on line at JJ's circa 1980 . Branch Brook Park along Bloomfield ave . Great memories, nothing like it in Vegas

    What's your current opinion of SHU declining an invitation to the Crown

    I hated the decision. I finally get the chance to see SHU in Vegas where I have lived for 30 years and we turn it down. Dammmmm I understand the reasons behind it (meaningless tournament, chance of injury etc) and had no issues with declining it

    Can't believe they put St John's and UConn in same bracket( east) and The Johnnies and Novea travel to the west coast for games. Power 5 football schools ensure no more than 1 Big East team potentially in the final four.
