    I believe the varsity game is at Forbush. But to answer the question about the field. The field is in great shape. There’s been one or two soccer matches this week and the JV game tonight. The Elkin Creek didn’t flood as bad as expected. It was mainly the Yadkin.

    Elkin football 2024?

    Going way back… reminds me of the Coach Brady years in the 1980’s. They lost a game to Allegheny by calling a naked bootleg, backed up against their own endzone. Resulted in a safety as time expired for a 2-0 loss.

    Rarely post... But Hayesville and Elkin do have quite a bit of playoff history. I believe Elkin had a last second win in Hayesville in 2002 that kick-started their run of 4 titles in 5 years.
