    Not if you leave Glauber in the bullpen, and promote Rose to the rotation. He has already shown he can work deep into games. The only real concern for me is he has been perfect pitching in relief, with no runs allowed. OTOH, he allowed 2 runs in 2 IP in his only start.

    I don't understand the need some people have to trash our players and coaches whenever something bad happens, or to badmouth the teams we beat in order to make our wins look less favorable.

    His ongoing issues with wildness... 7 WP and 11 HBP... would make him ineffective in relief. You can't enter the game with runners on, and uncork a WP, or put another runner on with HBP. It's bad enough when you walk or hit the leadoff batter. It's even worse when you do that with runners on...

    Only 9 IP in his first 3 starts, but 6 and 7 in the last 2, and he threw 90+ pitches in both games.

    Scott mentioned in the postgame Thursday night that Lynch is struggling to throw his slider, which was a devastating out pitch for him last year. Without that pitch working properly, he wouldn't be nearly as effective as last year pitching in relief. Hopefully he and the staff can figure out...
