***OFFICIAL UK vs MISSOURI GAME THREAD***

Safe to say Clarke has opted out, ala Vanderbilt.

Ive been Pro Cal Forever. No more.

Well it doesn't help that Cal left Askew in the game during the final 5-6 minutes. He literally shouldn't have been on the floor as he was giving the team nothing (no scoring, can't beat his man off the dribble, picks up his dribble prematurely, etc). I'm not trying to pile on the kid but he...

His lineups and substitution patterns this year are just absurdly bizarre. I get it that the team this year has flaws that you simply can't fix, but it's almost like he's purposely putting in weird lineups just to show everyone he's the boss and he does what he wants.

    Kentucky lacks flow

Just a poor roster all around, especially with Clarke opting out (I mean sitting out due to injury).

    SEC champs or bust

This team can win four games in a row in the SECt? Lol?

    What To Do With Clarke/Boston?

To be fair, BJB was a consensus top 10 recruit and projected lottery pick. Clarke not further behind him. It will be interesting to see if these two can pick up their play in conference as the year progresses or if both of them were just 'misses' based on their rankings and potential. Maybe...

    What To Do With Clarke/Boston?

I'm torn on this as well -- at some point which is it -- is BJB this bad or is he just playing poorly and needs some shots to go in to build confidence? I watched quite a few of his high school games and he was a stud, I have to admit I'm baffled at how poorly he has played so far.

    Ramsey nailed it.....

Brandon's points are fair, but to me the larger takeaway here he seems to be landing on is "this is just a one year thing cause COVID and several key misses on recruits". Maybe so, and if that's the case, next year will bear out that hypothesis. I do think there are good points on the other...

What's best for UK program going forward.

For starters, it would require Cal to acknowledge, ideally publicly, that he needs to tweak the way he's building his rosters. Not an overhaul per se, as let's face it he's not going to abandon the OAD entirely, but a shift in the types of players he brings into the program (more of a blend of...

    Boston will play much better

Stating the obvious, but he needs to add some weight and get stronger. His length and skill is clear but until he can bang a bit (or at least absorb contact better) he's not going to be as good as he can be. 17.2% from 3 isn't going to get it done.

This one is on you, Calipari.

This team is soft and looks lost. I'm not sure how Cal can continue to give Diallo minutes -- he is giving the team virtually nothing out of his position. Also Washington is a non-factor in the post -- the bigs aren't good enough to score consistently in the paint. Couple that with poor...
