    3,000 yard QB should happen and hopefully this season. I’d just like to see multiple WRs in the 500-600 yard range, given how much we value TE usage in the pass game.

    Kudos to MM for remaining on the roster but he’s had so few game reps in his 5(?) years due to countless injuries, there’s no way he’s good enough to play much at this level. Give all the non-starter reps to the younger dudes.

    Crazy that this is all Iowa has needed for several years and has consistently failed. Cheers to a “making the makeables” kind of season for the hawks!

    I believe Lester has already said the battle will probably go through camp and into the season, no? I feel like they are willing to (Publicly) let the competition go for a lengthy period of time simply to not discourage the [eventual] loser.

    I'm still worried about the quarterback position and whether it was a good idea to NOT bring in a lower-level success story as we did with MG. So....Fingers crossed Lester is the real deal - Year 3 is enough time to expect a coach to have things pretty squared away.
