    100% a lot of good ball in the central part of the state from the 90's through the early 2010's!

    With the season 2 weeks away what teams do you miss?

    Not necessarily one team that I miss but I do miss the old Okaw Valley Conference with the black and blue divisions. Included teams like Tolono Unity, St. Teresa, Central A&M, Tuscola, Maroa Forsyth, Monticello, Shelbyville, Sullivan, Warrensburg-Latham, Meridian, Argenta-Oreana, and Clinton.

    2009 - 2013 was a great time for IHSA football, especially in central Illinois. Some competitive conferences and really good football memories in jr. high and high school.

    Will be interesting to see if that comes to fruition. Could be a good playoff tune up game for Coach Ramsey and the Panthers but that close to the post season, the injury risk becomes real.     I'm not a Taylorville guy but interesting story. My question was more geared towards do they have the facilities to accommodate an influx of students if annexation happens. I like the idea of MTZ going to the CS8. MTZ and Rochester was a great game last year.
