šŸˆ Recruiting Tulsa adds more talent from the transfer portal

What happened to that wide receiver transfer from UTEP who was injured in the first or second game of last season? He was supposed to be the best one on the team and had a TD catch before messing up his knee. Is he still on the roster?

The WAY TOO Early 2025 football season prediction thread

And OU... Both those pathetic excuses for an educational institution.

    Coaches' salaries and NIL

With Brad Robbins taking over the OC position, does that mean Spurrier Jr. is off the payroll?

Is Tulsa Continuing Down The Wrong “Strategic” Road?

TU football had a sizeable impact on my decision to come back for graduate school. That and the student investment fund were my two reasons. Once I was enrolled and on-campus, I was blown away with how great the professors were in the business school, how nice the campus and student amenities...

Is Tulsa Continuing Down The Wrong “Strategic” Road?

That's a great point. I hadn't thought about the tax implications!

Is Tulsa Continuing Down The Wrong “Strategic” Road?

Contracts for the players receiving NIL make sense; seems very intuitive when you think about it. If that ever becomes reality, then athletes should no longer be required to enroll with the university academically if they don't wish to. Make the "student" portion of their concatenation...

    Coaches' salaries and NIL

Any chance that there will eventually be limitations on how many times players can transfer? Is it unreasonable to assume NIL dynamics will eventually match up to contract stipulations like those in the pro leagues? No-trade clauses, multi-year contracts, etc.

    Welcome To Tulsa Tre Lamb

I could barely hear ANYTHING from that press conference today on YouTube... Had to put on headphones and listen someplace quiet the volume was so low... I did like what he had to say when I could hear him.

    Football should be fun

Mostly because our offense was so damn bad. I was hoping he'd have a better experience during his time here because his dad had such success during the 1991 season and I bet he grew up hearing about the 40k plus fans roaring the team on back then... I'm not disagreeing with the core of your...

    Football should be fun

I watched the game on ESPN+ and saw Switzer begging Ostroski not to give up, as his body language was showing complete resignation after the 2nd quarter. I feel bad for Owen, he's one of the best players on the team, but what's the point of playing defense if the offense can't pass a kidney...

    Welcome To Tulsa Tre Lamb

At least he's not a retread. He's relatively young and likely inexpensive. I'd consider it an "outside the box" hire, so none of us know what to expect at this point.

I'd like Nick Saban. Please make the edit and then inform him via twitter of his latest career move!

    Search is over

Tulsa world corroborates the story as well.

    Search is over

So is Switzer technically running the team and doing all the requisite head coaching / recruiting duties while the search continues?
