    Iowa st toyed with us, I really could care less what pig slop thinks. I’m past ready to see us competing for FFs and being a factor in college basketball, not just with pope but cal was awful his last 3-4 yrs as well.

    No reason for Moreno to be the “playmaker” at the top of the key, put his butt on the block and jump hook someone to death. Make teams double him and run cutters and shooters off screens when they do, these teams have a big that can post…….they’re in the FF, we’re still trying to get to an elite 8.

    I know he wants 5 out and bigs making decisions on back doors and handoffs etc (for some reason instead of the ball handlers doing that) but when things get tight, most good teams look to the post up. I’m tired of seeing us get bullied around as well in the paint and a shot blocking presence...

    There’s more to the game than offense, he was our best defender along with Oweh & it’s not like we have a group of tough physical players on this team. Never said he was Jordan but there’s a place for a guy like that on a team.

    JJ and BG kinda known to be leaving, I’ll be surprised if jelly stays around as well. I think MM, CC, & KW are the ones he’s prioritizing, I’d like to keep Mo but if pope has too many players then he’s going to keep that dumb sub patterns trying to keep all happy. Don’t forget about Hawthorne...

    Coveted??? Wanna place a bet on that? Super athletic but needs to be surrounded by superior players so he can rebound and block shots. He did have a couple “BG games” but couldn’t count on him offensively to be consistent. Good bench and role player but never will avg a double double.

    If he wants to recruit middle of the pack type players, then UK is not the place for that. A good mix of studs and some guys that will stay around we’ve seen work but getting the studs here seems to be the issue.
