OT: upgrade in weather forecasting software

Lewis never lets anyone get in the way of whatever story he is writing/peddling to his readers. Definition of no-fact checkers he should have all of his books listed as FICTION, as he never lets the truth or facts get in the way of his current mission.

    Season Tickets

The same happened to us--even though we have been donors for >25+ years. Ridiculous/incompetent--whatever adjective you want to use to describe this LATE and perhaps <intentional> miscommunication about this for several months is....they way njtransit is run. If we are in the B10, we need to be...

OT: $750 Million Rutgers/RWJ Barnabas New Cancer Pavillion

Sadly, except for CHOP (for pediatric oncology solutions), the only cancer hospital in this great country is M.D. Anderson in Houston. I know they are building facilities in Camden and near wherever the Jets practice facility is; but how can NYC not have a Cancer center ? And don't get me...

    OT: Billy vs Elton

They both are not in top 50 on my list. To the original poster, I love Nashville, and think that city is one of many reasons we should stay clear of scheduling vandy in football--+they hired a new AD, I think. But not to hijack the thread, neither one of them has written a song/poem in >20...

OT: Bigger Challenge - Name EVERY Car You've Owned

I don't even like cars---ignorance is bliss is true, i guess--might have one or 2 car dates off by a year once we get into the late 80's. First car: 1964 Wildcat convertible with the shift on the stick. First owned in 1982. <Where is this car now?--upkeep became too expensive, sadly> --1976...

OT: 2019 Kentucky Derby is wide open.

Just back from a fun weekend in Lexington, but it is time for a few things to happen: 1. Church Hill Downs (CHDN--ticker) needs to sell the track to some private equity firm..They've been selling all of their other tracks since 2009, and only seem to care about racing on Friday (Oaks) and...

Paul Mulcahy is the first New Jersey H.S basketball player to AVERAGE a triple-double since 1993

None of those guys made the league except for Bobby before his accident. Think that says great things/and not so good things about his Dad's preparation of kids vs the "win now" mantra; but all of those kids---now men---stayed out of trouble. So that counts as a Win, to me.

OT: 2019 Kentucky Derby is wide open.

ICYMI---Another scratch is announcing today. which raises an interesting question --or two. 1> Does War of Will--last 20-1--move to PP #2 as the rail is seemingly a death spot--and make the middle more congested ? 2> Why were there not more A/E's this year ? I like what I posted yesterday...

Paul Mulcahy is the first New Jersey H.S basketball player to AVERAGE a triple-double since 1993

Al Harrington *averaged a triple double* his junior year of 96-97, but I put a lot of credence to @colbert17's point of who was the stat-checker. Heck, it even happens in today's NBA game. The home team keeps the stats for assists and rebounds with an NBA-overlay to review each game before the...

OT: 2019 Kentucky Derby is wide open.

Agree that 137 points is way too high, and unlike Mike B. Hope they can keep control of the track if the rain arrives Friday late. I really like Improbable--Ark Derby second--coasted/BBaffert/ and the hottest young jock of the year IOrtizJr.. Flying out there tomorrow night. Enjoy, and good...
