    Both my boys started at 6 and played through Senior year to date. No better way to do it in my opinion.

    I do not disagree. However, in MANY cases, other parents and friends of the program assist these transfer efforts. Just makes it harder on the cases where it is for legitimate reasons.     It is very easy to take that approach. I mostly subscribe to it myself HOWEVER there are unscrupulous people and coaches who recruit kids into making bad decisions to transfer. Because they want to see the colors they root for win.
