    You’re probably thinking of Ramarcus Baylor, he was a state runner up in the 100 m and played football at Christopher Newport. There was a freshman running back on that team that scored a TD who happened to be 6’+ and 200 lb+ and is the dad of this years freshman that is 6’3” and 225 lbs.

    I'd like to see Essex play some bigger schools in the Richmond or Fredericksburg area but obviously those schools don't have much incentive to play a smaller school. Not playing KW is a big blow in what is usually a tough, competitive game as well as a long time rival.

    Essex started running the spread in 2004 and ran that until Coach Jones left the first time. Since then theyve ran a variety of offenses, setting multiple records along the way. I agree Essex needs to get back to getting the ball to athletes in space.

    Not that it matters, but Middlesex and Essex for that matter are both on the south/west side of the Rappahannock. You don't cross the river to get to Middlesex. Sidenote-Essex isn't on the Northern Neck either, technically.
