    Haysi never tried milking the clock. They were behind the whole game and passed a ton. How do you think Essex got 5 interceptions. Sustaining long drives is not the same as milking the clock. Nobody milks the clock when they are behind.

    Essex still has the ability to pass and will, but not being forced into obvious passing situations will be key.

    Two weeks ago he came into the game and played some on defense but I don't think he started. Against Haysi he played on both sides of the ball but had limited carries..maybe 5 or 6.

    I don't mean for them to be one demensional, just that they can keep putting theirselves in 3rd and longs. They'll have a much better chance of winning if they can get a ground game going. And if, IF they can run the ball then keep doing it. if they can't then obviously they'll have to pass too.

    With the rain forecasted on Saturday, this will probably be defense dominated, run heavy game. Essex will be fine if they're healthy but if not it could be a long game for the Trojans.

    I think if they have a seating minimum of 2000 or whatever it is, then they should have been enforcing it all along. It's messed up to allow Essex to host at least 4 state semifinals (03, 09, 13 and 14) and then all of a sudden say nope, y'all don't get to host this year just because some fans...

    REMATCH OF LAST YEARS FINALS?

    Re: I have already posted this but here goes it again. I'm glad to see Essex back to the final 4, but the Trojans will need to play a complete game to beat Haysi. Essex hasn't played great ball yet in the playoffs. He defense has been solid but the offense is going to have to step up on offense.
