    No chance in hell non and boundary schools are playing on level playing fields. You have coaches out there saying they are looking for the top talent to bring in to their program. How is that level playing fields?

    Going back to my original post. Non boundary and boundary schools have different playing levels but we expect them to compete in same competition playoffs.......

    When Jodan Lynch says "I was looking for the area's top talent" and Loyola is pulling athletes from 25+ zip codes is enough to tell me that they aren't on the same playing field. Anyone that says otherwise is fooling themselves. Have separate playoffs like Texas.

    Without a doubt hire Jeff Monken. He's been a winner wherever he's been. Knows how to win with lesser talent. He has the Illinois ties to keep the in state talent. Will be tough to prepare for what he will do on offense in one week.

    To think every HS program can be ready for physical contact and the conditioning needed in 3 weeks is crazy. If the plan is a 7 game season now and in the spring, why not just wait til the spring? Whats the covid protocol if a number of players test positive? At least in the spring it gives...

    From having coached in Florida myself it works because all spring sports are done by May. (Except postseasons). Taking away days in the summer to do non padded practices is not the answer. If it will not culminate with a jamboree or game then it's no use. I've had college coaches come out...
