    Another way to measure brand. If you look at tv ratings for basketball and football combined each year, UK always is in the top 10 in viewership for ratings. I know some schools are in football or basketball but UK is both.

    According to this thread we had no chance and yet we signed him. Same with Mom and Hampton. Once is lucky, twice is maybe we can now recruit, but three times in a short wi dow is a pattern. Its a track record of success.

    I agree on Butler if he had been healthy version. Unfortunately we were not able to see that unfold. I agree on Oweh and Williams. However, I believe the pieces we have at 3 and 4 are better overall on this team. I also believe the parts on this team are so much more Interchangeable at most...

    When Pat Kelsey does anything in the Post Season is when I will believe he can coach at the level UL is accustomed to. Louisville was runner up by many reports for Dusty May. That would be a different conversation if he had chosen to go there. Thank goodness he didn't.

    Its obvious they wanted to keep both pay boards with the merger and make free boards not as attractive. Hence we get only one. There is currently an opportunity if someone is capable enough to figure out how to elevate a free site to compete.

    Travis Perry wants to play starter like minutes which is why he transferred again this year. He wasn't going to do that at UK and apparently didn't see the desired role at Ole Miss either.

    This team has many unknowns but does have potential. We could use more rebounding, interior D, and shooting. I do believe we will sign 1 or 2 more contributors that will help improve in those areas. Time is on our side and many more opportunities will most likely arise.

    Anyone based on current performance at UK on the court, in recruiting and past performance at previous jobs cannot have confidence he is the right choice. On the contrary, it appears he is most likely in over his head. However, he has one final opportunity whether we agree or not.
