Chris Schremp Prairie Ridge. On military appreciation night Prairie Ridge came back after trailing 0-14. They scored 38 unanswered points to beat a very talented Crystal Lake South 38-14. PR is 2-0 beating 2 teams that were predicted to beat them and finish higher than then in conference this year.
McHenry will not be a contender along with Dundee crown and Hampshire. Cary Grove will be better than last year but I’m thinking 5-4 or 6-3 if they can catch a break. Burlington Central will have a chance to be a heart breaker to some teams if they sleep on BC. Huntley should win the conference...
5A could be a gauntlet with several teams moving into that class. PR moving down, JC, St. Francis moving up from 4a. Along with Naz , Morris, Sycamore, and several other quality programs in the mix. I’m probably missing a couple great teams as well.
