Questions about being a Head Coach in North Carolina

What counties have it the worst? In Pender County coaches get paid a percentage of their salary. This isn't always bad, however Pender County gives a percentage of salary based on the 2004 Teacher Pay scale. Yes you read that right...2004. Also Football is the only sport that gets paid...

Dixon High School football...

Last time Dixon had a winning season in football was 2012 as well. Also pretty sure Topsail's conference is quite a bit harder than Dixon's lol. When it comes to playing those in our division of the conference, Topsail is fine. Tied this year with West Brunswick and winning the 3A out right...

Dixon High School football...

Move 15 miles south in Hampstead and you will be in Topsail School district. Far superior to Dixon in academics and athletics.
