    Yes Rice lost a very good WR rising Junior who had some catches on Varsity as Soph. Kid also great baseball player. However he lives in Portage so can't blame the did wanting to save 30 minutes each way. Also I know Rice also just lost a rising Junior RB-DB to Laurence.

    I think Rice playing other 8A teams like MC, LWE, Loyola and Marist will give them a good pre-7A playoff prep. Rice has 12-13 D1 guys on roster so about same as ESL so both stack up well against each other.

    Rita playing 7A this year would be a very tough go. Especially with Rice-ESL there. Will be an interesting season for them. They gotta stay healthy or they'll be 3-6. Marist is another that could suprise people and go 6-3 or have a tough go and be 2-7

    I think its a good move for Chase - Purdue is closeby and is in Big Ten. I think MC has at least 8 roster players formally committed and another 8 with FBS offers. Man that is a loaded team.

    I think Rice has a solid front DL with McGee and Costello/Elsea as ends and Parks, Lofton, Shelton and some other upcoming Juniors at DTs should match up with MC OL.
