    CCL Fresh/Soph Scores (Week 7)

Rice Sophs beat Fenwick 32-7 and Frosh beat Fenwick 42-6. I believe Marist Sophs beat Naperville Central and their Frosh beat Carmel in a close one. Last week of year will pit Rice and Marist against each other for Soph and Frosh Blue championships. Need MC to beat Loyola on Varsity to get the...

    CCL Fresh/Soph Scores (Week 6)

Granted putting in Week 7 here- but looks like Rice Sophs beat Fenwick 32-7 and Frosh beat Fenwick 42-6. I believe Marist Sophs beat Naperville Central and their Frosh beat Carmel in a close one. Last week of year will pit Rice and Marist against each other for Soph and Frosh Blue...

MC 49 PC 14 Final nm

Lynch can do whatever he wants to do at home against a 5-1 Provy team who he thinks screwed over his buddy. Lynch is old school - if you're on his list then you're going to have MC throw everything at you. Lynch could have gone for 2 on the last PAT but didn't. Provy got a reality check wake...

    Rice 42 Fenwick 21

Fenwick played a good half of football - their coach made some bonehead calls which put them behind an eight ball they couldn't get out of. Rice didn't play Holcombe, Yarbrough or Cartelano so they were a little flat in beginning. Gallasso settled in and played a decent QB. Thies is a really...

MC 49 PC 14 Final nm

Lynch did it because he loathes what Provy and perhaps another coach did to his buddy TP. Provy got a karma check tonite

What Game are you Most Interested in this Upcoming Weekend?

Fenwick at Rice - see how Fenwick is after tough loss to Provy and whether Rice keeps foot on gas rest of season after a big W vs MC Carmel at Marist - how both teams come back from losses Provy at MC - how bad MC destroys Provy and their interim HC Oak Lawn vs Richards - could this be Oak...

    McCarthy (Naz) Traded to Giants

I would have traded for Flacco and given up a 7th rounder and a case of Gatorade

Best HS player you have seen that didn’t pan out in college?

JC Love Jordan - RB out of Richards who went to Iowa - got great reps as Frosh but hurt knee in Soph year and got pushed over to Flanker - I thought he would be ALl Pro. Dan Doehring - 5 star OL out of Barrington - some injuries but tons of competition at Iowa kept him from seeing the field...

So its fair to say ALL rankings in illinois is totally based on ccl blue? Bc the latest max prep state rankings are dumb

Massey has ESL as 1, MC 2, Loyola 3, LWE 4 and Rice 5. MaxPreps Loyola 1, MC 5

    MC/BR Game Links (3) + Radio

I'm pretty sure has to do with the plan they are on with YouTube and most likely for scouting purposes. Traditionally they have taken down Varsity games 2 days afterwards. Soph and Frosh they usually keep up, but perhaps something changed. I'm ok with it - the games stream free when they...

    CCL Fresh/Soph Scores (Week 6)

CCL Blue Frosh and Soph championships will come down to Rice vs Marist in both.

    Loyola 42 Marist 12 F

Marist got worn down. Doesn't have the speed to keep up with the LAs, MCs or Rice's... granted they'll step it up and give Rice a good game in season finale.
