Lunardi moves UK to a #8 seed in today’s updated bracketology

Seeding seems to matter less and less each year with this year almost meaningless. Matchups and how well you prepare and perform are far more important. Probably close to 40 teams with legit shots to win it all this year. After last year I don't think you'll see me jonesing about what seed we...

Frederick being terrible kills this team

Post of the year! Hilarious, since most think that Wheeler's out of control, playing too fast is his biggest problem. Makes me wonder which idiot has it MOST wrong!

Frederick being terrible kills this team

But...but he does have a hurt finger. Oh yeah, forgot no injury excuses allowed! lol

Frederick being terrible kills this team

Nah...makes more sense to just leave him in and keep firing away there Benjamin...lol.

Wheeler, Washington & Grady were all banged up at the end of the year. No opinion, simple fact. St. Peters also beat a pretty decent Purdue team last year in the tourney that is currently #1. Failure to understand that tells me all I need to know about your BB knowledge and logic.

Frederick being terrible kills this team

12/18/21 UK 98 UNC 69 Wheeler 12-15 FGS, 26 pts, 8 assists, 4 steals 1/15/22 UK 107 UT 79 Wheeler 8-10 FGs, 21 points, 8 assists, 2 steals Empty stat guy played as well as any guard in the country in those 2 blowout wins, given the competition. Not sure what's happened to him this year but...

    Wheeler tunes out fan criticism

STILL jonesing about that St. Peters loss? We can probably get you some help but first we need to get you off the street. Wallace will play a lot of pg this year if you hadn't already figured that out. Just like Quickley and Maxey in recent years in case you haven't been watching. It's cool that...

LOL...you should probably read more. But then again, some are educated way beyond their intelligence!

I have a question. Back when we were feared.

Yeah I watched that game and don't recall EVER being up comfortably but keep spinning it anyway there Einstein. Point is, with the talent comparison, NEITHER game should have been close, much less losing one of them. That 96 UK team has been labelled as one of the best collections of talent in...

    Wheeler tunes out fan criticism

Yes, he was a winner and didn't mean to run him down. I could've chosen Epps or Teague also, but my point was that we have had pgs with limitations worse than Wheeler and still went on to win it all. Wheeler was voted preseason ALL-SEC by coaches in the league so I'll defer to their judgement...

    Wheeler tunes out fan criticism

Sorry, didn't mean to insult you. Turner, Epps & Teague were the PGs on UK's last 3 National Championships. ALL 3 had deficiencies in their games. None were as good individually as Ullis, Fox and Wall. They weren't the best pgs but they were the RIGHT pgs for those specific teams. Wheeler is the...

    Wheeler tunes out fan criticism

Your size reasoning fails to hold water. UK lost in the final four twice to UCONN because they ddn't have small guards who could match up with theirs. (see Kemba Walker & Shabazz Napier for reference). But keep coming up with more BS to defend you're running down of Wheeler there Einstein! Your...

Was that after he finally started his senior year after failing to beat out Epps for a starting job? Good to know you can read and almost understand a

I have a question. Back when we were feared.

Is that the same Pitino that Cal has owned when coaching against him? Hell, Cal almost beat that guy twice in 95-96, you know when Pitino had 8-9 future pros on the roster. Meanwhile Cal was playing with 2 guards who haven't been heard of since that season. Yeah let's bring back the...
