    the mbb tournament generates ~$1billion in media rights. obviously, those commercials that annoy you and me pay for the event that is keeping the ncaa viable. cfp media rights are ~$1.3billion. the women's tournament is worth ~$65million for comparison sake.

    there are a number schools who have not signed the csc participation agreement, nebraska being one, joining tennessee, and texas public universities. minnesota, michigan, ohio state, and iowa are among the b10 schools who have signed. notre dame has as well.
