    Maybe they had such a large quantity of applicants that it's hard to set up all the interviews or they are thinning out the candidate list for serious inquiries only????

    Not sure what you are asking? Hard to believe a smaller county pays more, but it is based on percentages there. Our scale has not changed in years! Most here do it because they love it, but more pay would help with expenses concurred during the season as well as make it easier to spend our own...

    Columbus County coaches for the most part make a great deal more than Robeson County coaches. I know what I make and I would make almost $2000 more for two sports (Football & Baseball) if I were working in Columbus County. So it is NOT THE PAY SCALE! CC gets paid on %, Robco flat dollar amount...
