    Looking at their 2025 portal rankings — pretty solid with a few exceptions. UofL’s Wooley was #8 overall (over Ryan Conwell) and then you had some really solid players further down the list (Demary was 19 and Swain from Texas was 38). Mara was #50. 😬

    I don’t think UConn can beat either Arizona or Michigan. But I didn’t think they would beat Michigan State, Duke or Illinois. So they’ll probably back into another title. I don’t like it but it’s better than Duke, UNC, Louisville, Indiana or Kansas winning a title.

    I actually enjoyed it more than I thought I would. Seems like a likeable bunch off the floor. They didn’t get it done but it wasn’t for lack of effort. Unless I missed it Dioubate wasn’t really featured. Almost every notable contributor had a segment. Interesting.

    Cayden Is In For Some Rough Days Ahead…

    I despise Duke more than most—I jumped higher than Michael Jordan in the ‘87 dunk contest when Mullins hit the shot—but it’s silly to hate on the kid. It was one boneheaded play. If not for Cayden, Duke’s season would have ended a long time ago. He played very well down the stretch.

    I turned the game off when Duke got up 11. Looks like I’m not missing anything. Fouls 10-4 in favor of Duke per the box score I just checked. Rinse and repeat. Just preparing myself for the inevitable.

    Despise both programs but I can’t undo 34 years of hatred simply because a program is nipping at our heels. At least UConn feels somewhat organic. Duke relies on media propaganda and a favorable whistle. Go Huskies.
