    Sucks for 2027-28 but not really concerned for next year. There is already a glut of forwards on the roster who can all play. I don’t think the kid will make as big of impact year 1 as many are projecting.

    I could see this going either way, i.e., their best players leaving or waiting to see who the new coach is good to be. If it’s someone like Donovan or Oats I could see them all rallying around this sudden change of events. Kind of like the ‘89 Michigan team did when Bill Freider left for Arizona...

    2026 Class Not Done?

    I do think we’re one guard short. Get this guy and we’re cooking…not sure who this forces to the bench but who cares? If Pope has proven anything, he’ll play 11-12 guys. Will drive us crazy at times but might actually make sense this year.

    Fox getting slammed

    I love Fox but he was awful this series. He can make shots but he kept jacking up threes and missing. I don’t think he was close to 100% but his game is going to the rim, floaters, etc. I was surprised they gave him a huge extension especially considering Harper looks like a future superstar.

    All comes down to #24. If he can become honorable mention AA level — they have a chance. I’m talking 15-8-2. If it’s closer to 10-6-2 then I don’t see it happening.

    This makes me sad. I have Phil’s autograph from the ‘96 PGA from Valhalla and have always cheered for him. I hope he gets the help he needs.
