    If Lucas don't get it then good luck getting kids out to play. My nephews won't play if they screw over lucas. He has put his time in, waited patiently, and turned down other opportunities.

    Lucas Ford better get the job and I am sure he will. The bigger question is who coaches swain in 2026? Never seen a more unprepared team them the last few years. They had the horses in 2023, but we knew what they were doing all night, but they almost got us with that 2nd straight fake punt.

    I've heard the folks in Bryson City may be a player for joey in 2026. Heard he wants to take a year and sounds like Swain will have an opening in 2026 based on what I've seen and heard.

    A veer team runs the veer 75 percent of the time. Swain may run the veer 10 to 15 percent of time...based on what ive seen. Veer or no they need an identity on offense.

    Again for the 4th time those titles were won due a talent gap between them and the west. When that talent gap closes scheme becomes more important. Tarboro could run any offense that has ever been run and beat the teams they play every year, but thats not true when or if they face teams that...

    I agree, but tarboros scheme subtracts from its talent and puts it at a disadvantage. Kinda like when the option equalizes the playing field for a team with less talent, the T offense does the opposite for tarboro.

    It wins when they have way more talent than their opponents, which is the case against their schedule until the title game. They won those titles because of their talent not their schemes.
