Okafor deserves better than this BS

I realize people are sick of hearing about Boston but I didn’t just throw them out there like I was a fan. Boston has interest in him before and has had concerns with size going into this season.

Okafor deserves better than this BS

Love Okafor at Duke but I think we saw ending their title run that in this age what he struggled with is more pronounced then his ability to score in the post. He just really grew up in the wrong generation. He will catch on somewhere and should help a teams second unit. Boston maybe...

    Kyrie going to the Celtics

Looks like Cleveland did Boston dirty. They wanted Tatum and couldn't get him so they make the trade public, ensuring Thomas and Crowder are pissed, and now ask for more? Zero chance this wasn't all planned out.

    Kyrie

This won't be a popular opinion on this board but Irving is way down my list of favorite Devils. He was an amazing individual player at Duke and has continued that in the NBA. I can't think of any Devil who has had a better NBA career. That being said...without LeBron...Kyrie has a career...

    Jayson Tatum

I watched a bit of celtics summer league and specifically Tatum. Obviously there is a lot to like...although...I'm not sure the environment is great for Tatums first year. They are running everything through him when he is in...and he's not looking to pass unless he is stuck or a real obvious...

    Jayson Tatum

I think many basketball fans see Hayward the white shooter stereotype and therefore I where near the talent of George or Butler. I believe he is better then many think...but they still aren't beating Cleveland and will need to fight to beat the Wizards, Raptors or Bucks should they see them in...

    Frank Jackson has foot surgery...

We don't know that. Frank very well may have a team that promised him a first round selection...he did get rave reviews. The downside of returning is a drop in stock and when you are talking about late first round or second round talent...that can easily mean not getting drafted at all.

    Frank Jackson has foot surgery...

Foot Surgery? At some point a coincidence with Duke players has to be something more...doesn't it?

    NBA lottery - Tatum

If they keep everyone and sign Hayward then they are pretty maxed out with salary. I think they are looking at around $26 million open which is about exactly what Hayward will cost. Olynyk can be signed over the cap because of bird rights but they may not want to cover what another team...

    NBA lottery - Tatum

As for Tatum...nba teams obviously see a ton of talent because drafts have him so high...but it wouldn't shock me if he's the one to fall when teams are actually picking. You are right about foul shooting projecting future 3-point success at a decent rate...I just think his nature is as a ball...

    NBA lottery - Tatum

The Nba is tough right now because of the 3 and analytics. Teams shoot such a high % of 3s that there is so much variance night to night. I really believe that is why there are so many blowouts in the playoffs. The key for the celtics is Hayward. That being said...it still leaves them very...

    WE GOT HIM

I watched about 5-10 minutes of the McDonalds game and saw a kid jumping and waving his arms at the 3-point line when the ball was in the post on the opposite block. It ended up being Sexton. Players that are very "me" focused will put up their points and some will love and praise them but...

    NBA lottery - Tatum

Id be surprised if Boston doesn't draft and keep Fultz. Scouts love him and his versatility and Boston likes to go small anyway...they will likely trade Bradley and be thrilled with having a stud on a rookie contract. I personally don't think Tatum will be great. Similar to Okafor...his game...

Recruiting in today's game has to be fatiguing & maddening

It is to much of an assumption that they all will develop. In this scenario you are recruiting...maybe 3 kids a year? How many 3/4* kids don't develop into great players? I mean isn't that essentially what every non-blue blood school does...and how consistent are they outside of the years...

What do you think about this idea?

If the nba is able to build on the D-league as an actual minor league system...then I think the OAD rule may go away. Part of the issue is the kids who entered the draft out of high school...didn't get drafted and couldn't go back. Of course now those kids are forced to go to college when they...
