I feel like the physicality level didn't affect TJ as much as it did vs Cherokee but I knew going in that if we lost the turnover battle then we would lose the game. If you take away the fumble within our 10 and the int return inside the 10 when we were driving it would have been a completely...

    MICS vs. TJA

Charger I think you missed the context of the discussion about getting kids scholarship offers. There is nothing wrong with taking kids to games and working hard to get them noticed by colleges. You're right more coaches should do it. The issue with the MIC program is they recruit talented...

TJA loses to Union Academy... Undefeated no more

Thanks Wildcat. I wish you guys the best. I think 1A western NC football is made up of a lot of great programs. Always fun to see these young men leave it all on the field.

TJA loses to Union Academy... Undefeated no more

Rich you obviously struggled in school. Let me help you understand how this works. TJ lost a game that didn't change anything. Still conference champs (who cares if it's shared with a 1AA team), still the #3 seed with a bye. We gained a refocused team, and got rid of the burden of an undefeated...

TJA loses to Union Academy... Undefeated no more

Rich and Gunz. I saw #11 on UA after the game. The kid is a legit 6'4" maybe 6'5". Good hands, and speed. I think he would make a great addition to the MIC roster next year. He and your #1 QB would be a deadly pair. And he's only a sophomore. Just the way you like them. You should make a...

TJA loses to Union Academy... Undefeated no more

Credit to the UA team and coaching staff. The team came out ready to play. This one worried me all week. It was a perfect trap game. Coming off a big win, senior night at the opposing teams stadium with a chance to knock off an undefeated team. And UA is a good young team. TJ did have their...

HOW MICS BECAME THE MOST FEARED TEAM IN N.C 1-A

Have you been sipping on too much sauce Rich? You’re starting to have some real comprehension issues. It’s getting late so I’ll give you a pass tonight. Bring back your A game in the morning. It’s more interesting.

I'll give credit where it's due. That land sharks line was a good one.

HOW MICS BECAME THE MOST FEARED TEAM IN N.C 1-A

True. The kid has to make his own way and prove himself. He's solid though and has good instincts. A little height would help, but he's a load to tackle right now. I agree on the photo shoot. Aren't all sophomore visits just a photo shoot? A lot can happen in two years.

    MICS vs. TJA

You love the banter until it's some serious truth that hits too close to home. I get it. You don't have to admit I'm right. Actually, I prefer you don't because it would be a distraction for the rest of the season. All I ask is that you guys change the way you build a program. Invest in the...

    MICS vs. TJA

When I attempt to encourage a young man who comes on here to defend his teammates your response is to go full Jedi and try to tell me I didn’t see what hundreds of people saw. As Scott said, I’m going to let it go, and assume the coaching staff and administration handled that situation...

HOW MICS BECAME THE MOST FEARED TEAM IN N.C 1-A

That explains a lot. Jeff Burris was a beast in college. Now I see why his nephew looks like a grown man on the field even though he's only a sophomore. Good genes don't hurt.
