    Tips for a golfing newbie

    1. Play as fast as you comfortably can. 2. Take a score card with you when you start for course directions, etc., but NO PENCIL. No need to keep score right now. 3. Don't try to take on Torrey Pines this week. Pitch and Putt courses are fine for beginners. 4. Have fun!
