It’s stuff like this that make me really happy Pope is our coach. He’s winning which is awesome, but you can also count on him building the right culture.

Cal would have never been able to make those adjustments. Pope is an insanely good coach. These boys have heart and fight AND talent. We are a legit contender.
Most of all, I was sick of his narcissism which includes condescension and his attitude toward everyone else. I said many times over the last few years, I wouldn’t want him back even if he won it all. We needed a culture change and finally got one.
