    I’m looking forward to seeing how the Cougars play at Pisgah too. Lots of hype about this Pisgah squad which means lots of pressure to. I have a feeling we will wear them out up front but nobody’s really talking about this Cougar squad up front and that’s just fine.

    I heard through the grapevine that Franklin’s Garrett Young got injured vs Rabun County but that was also via some Smoky Mtn folks so I’m not sure if true or not. But if true, that’s a horrific blow to him and that squad. Cause they’re very legit this year.

    Obviously NH is better when Parker Willis plays. I actually thought North’s DL would be better based on the film vs Robbinsville and Swain. At the end of the day, the Cougars strength this year is their offense and again, I’m looking forward to finding a match up that tests them up front.

    Again, another meh team to scrimmage for Heritage. Starting D got about 8 total reps which resulted in zero NH first downs and two punts.     Hard to gauge anything based on how poor NB is tbh. I don't see them finishing this season at the varsity level. All i know is, i love being picked to finish 3rd or battling with Owen. Nothing more fun that a Heritage squad with a chip on their shoulder.

    Run the ball. I was low key shocked at how easy it was to run the ball. Was expecting a much stiffer test. We should have ran our QB more. He’s much better than he gets credit for in that regard. I still think LTon wins this game. I think the playoff schedule for Shelby catches up to them, sadly.

    Just feels like Brevard is destined to meet Reidsville so I’ll go with the local Blue Devils in this one. I think having to prepare for Pisgah and the Pope train will only benefit Brevard for this one.

    Things really couldn’t have landed better for Lincolnton. Probably got to rest some starters, meanwhile Shelby having to play on the road vs physical teams. I think I’d have to give the edge to Lincolnton this week. Which makes things even worse to swallow as a Heritage fan 😢
