Big East tip time and tv schedules announced

The host school's conference owns the media rights as Lloyde alludes to. Nothing listed simply means said conference hasn't finalized its media schedule at the moment. In the case of Baha Mar, I believe CBS owns the tournament and thus the content provided (much as ESPN Events owns Maui...

Big East tip time and tv schedules announced

The last time BTN hosted SHU at RU was 2019. The last two RU home meetings were on FS1 and FOX respectively.

Our good friend Kevin Hunt passes

This is awful news. Kevin was such a good person. We were not good friends but knew each other through various mutual friends. We really got to know each other on the Booster Club trip to Fort Myers several years ago. I was travelling solo within the group but Kevin made sure I was fully...

    Personal Tidbit

That would track if he were wearing an SJU shirt. But he's won two natties and coached for a third in four years. He can wear whatever he wants in Storrs including his "joeyklings don't know crap" t-shirt. I've met Dan and I can vouch his affinity for SHU is real. I'm not really sure what is...

Wichita joins Dayton next two years

My post was somewhat sarcastic as Shore Guy does tend to post in shorthand. The news about the second tournament site for the expanded opening round has been broadly reported however.

    All aboard… SHU roster finalized

No relation to Drazen. However, Drazen's brother Aleksandar played for the Croatian club team Cibona which played several Big East schools, including Seton Hall, in exhibition games prior to the 1988-89 season.

Wichita joins Dayton next two years

It might be nice to know where we'll play as a 12 seed next March. Personally I would have thought they would go a little further west -- perhaps Provo or Salt Lake City.

    Sha on the hot seat?

Nobody will confuse Sha's offense with a Paul Westhead style showtime offense. That said, if he had better and more talented players -- something most would agree SJU and UConn did -- those players would get more out of the offense, flaws and all.

    Pirates 2026/27

Sha saw him in practice every day. I'd like to believe if Mbaye had earned playing time, Sha would have given it to him.

    Sha should call Few

Attendance numbers typically reflect tickets sold rather than turnstile count. If we're selling 7,500 tickets per game at $50 a pop. We're doing ok. Mind you my ticket (midcourt under the hard camera) cost me about $75 a game last year including Pirate Blue fee. On the other hand, we can't...

    Sha should call Few

Dude, it's Gonzaga. Remember when we laughed at RU scheduling UNC and going three in Chapel Hill, one at home and one at MSG. That's what this is.

    Pirates 2026/27

For the amount of playing time the 14th and 15th men would get (toss in 12th and 13th if you like), you're better off adding two walk-ons even if there is no real cost of the scholarship.

    Isaiah Coleman to …

The second one almost certainly isn't the same Isaiah Coleman. Lawton, OK is 150 miles from Stillwater, OK. Oklahoma State had a 2 PM game on November 16 -- the day after the alleged incident -- and played 28 minutes. Given Coleman was suspended for an off-court incident later in the season...

    Baha Mar Hoops

If Wisconsin is in the field, USC won't be as they are both Big 10 teams. A Big 12 team has been in the field each of the last four years. Based on last year's dates this will be November 19 and 20 -- the Thursday and Friday before Thanksgiving. TV will be CBS Sports Net. Last year's field was...

Quite an insult to Alex Gambino.
