    That is top 150…of transfers. Not inclusive of incoming freshman or other current players. Basically if a transfer player isn’t top 30 then best to manage expectations.

    They lost that freshman pg because Self is bringing in all of these guys better than him. It was also mentioned in another thread that they are on verge of getting commit from top PG in 2025 class, so I'm sure he saw the writing on the wall. Also according to reports looks like HD is coming...

    Wonder if this relates to the smoke that KU may land the #1 pg in 2025 class. Wild world we live in now where nobody is guaranteed until they show up on the court, and even then they may transfer to the other team at halftime.

    As we have seen in some of the other threads here…let’s just say there are some posters who seem very happy with the shift in recruiting focus. It shouldn’t matter, but apparently does to some people still, sadly.

    Recent court ruling essentially neutered any sort of “rules” the NCAA had left to enforce. This means we could see mid season transfers and guys playing immediately.

    Undoubtedly. It has been the way of big time programs for decades, and if you wanted to compete you were absolutely playing the game, including here at Kentucky. At the end of the day, I don't even have an issue with it, especially now with knowing just how much money this "not for profit"...

    They apparently stopped recruiting McKneely a couple of weeks back, preferring the portal/experience vs. freshman route, so no competition with KU there.
