    this is fair ... but if you were a high school QB wouldn't it be wise to hedge your bets and go to a school with offensive coaches and surrounding talent that affords a mere game manager an NFL opportunity along with the associated paycheck as opposed to a 3-9 crap show everything being equal...

    yes it was a nice showcase of the walkons I'm not sure people would have shown had they known they would have to sit through a half of grab-*** powder-puff only to be "rewarded" with a second of half of div 3 quality football they might have just as well attended the UN-Kearney spring game...

    we were 1-9 against power 5 teams "when it counts" last year and haven't been to a bowl since scott frost took over. .... perhaps this reasoning should be reevaluated

    we sure the kid even considers Neb if they offer? - maybe winning and bowl games are important to him he is committing to a respected program known for it's prolific offense nationally, outside of Neb (and even within on occasion), the decision to play at Neb is met with thinly veiled snickers...
