    Althoff Up 53-20 v Collinsville 3.14 4Q

Crusaders looked pretty good. Some week one jitters and a few discipline penalties, but I'd think they'll be just fine. Run game wore the Kahoks D down like 100-grit sandpaper, and botching two kickoff returns certainly didn't help them out.

Who is Your Teams Biggest Rival?

For Collinsville: in football specifically I'd probably say Triad. 10 minutes up the road, been competitive lately, but (at least for me) I don't remember there being a ton of malice in it. Granite City is another option, in years where both teams were lean it was always something if you could...

    42-23 1:58 4Q Flyers

On the topic of QB's...it's seemed like Shanklin is for sure the guy for the Flyers, at least on here. I know Ellington's supposed to be playing DB, but was there any thought about giving him the job?

    Cahokia v. Breese Central

I think both teams will be able to score, the question for me is which defense will be able to get stops consistently enough to gain an advantage. I'm gonna say Cahokia by a touchdown, just based on my gut feeling. 28-21 or somewhere in that range.

    Rochester 14 Waterloo 0 1st

55-21 Final Was 14-14 halfway through the second, then Rockets got 2 scores in the final minute and a half of the quarter, snowballed from there. Offense for the Rockets just too much for the Waterloo defense. One thing of note was that Waterloo were able to get 4 or 5 offside penalties from...

Round 2…. What are the must see games ?

In a perfect world, I'll be at Waterloo v. Rochester Friday night, then at another game [Idk which one yet, thinking Roxana v. SJO or Breese v. Freeburg] Saturday afternoon. The Wing-T proved to be Rochester's undoing last year, can the Bulldogs pull another big upset? Shells and Spartans had...

    Round 1 attendance?

Dupo v. Salt Fork was pretty well attended...rain held off until after the game down here, and Salt Fork brought a decent number of fans even with the 3.5 hour drive.

    Most intriguing Round 1 games

Dupo v. Salt Fork: First home playoff game for Dupo in 30 years Salt Fork run Wing-T, at least based on the little bit of film I found, which Dupo hasn't really seen. Centralia v. Cahokia: Comanches smoked the Orphans earlier in the year, but took a loss to Sycamore (who despite playing in a...

Quarterfinals - Breese Central @ Rochester

If this game was at Central, I'd give the Cougars a better shot (still wouldn't be favored). With it being at Rochester, I can't see it being closer than about 21 points.
