I do recall Channel 8 used to send helicopters to about 10 games and then have 3 or 4 clips from those contests on the news. i believe they devoted 20 minutes of their Friday night 11 pm newscast to high school football.
Looks like its a sign of the times unfortunately. I'm guessing that don't want to staff their night-time desk although it seems to me that stuff can be emailed although someone would need to typeset it. Oh well.
That could well factor into an appeal ruling. Look at poor Windsor. they were competitive in Class 1 but I'm not so sure they've done much of anything while in Class 2. They are the opposite of Riverheads.

Essex probably left 1 or 2 scores on the field. Definitely on their last possession. Those delay of game penalties were buzz killers. And they need to get those cramping issues resolved with a couple of their better players.
The sad thing is by looking at this unofficial ratings (elsewhere) if the playoffs were Friday night every game would be a regular season rematch. I'm like HR6!!! Hate playoff rematches unless its for a championship!
