    Expectations?

You're NM still ranks as your best post ever! You do appear to be slightly ignorant about our team, past and present, but definitely biased against our coach. I believe we have a chance to make the final 4 this yr., but nothing is guaranteed and just maybe you will be happy if we don't make...

    Expectations?

17 point loss to Maryland was the result of our team being limited in quality ball handlers and missing free throws. Jan is 50-18 as a head coach in one of the best women's basketball conferences and winner of the WBCA rookie of the year award WOW she hasn't made it to the sweet 16 in her 2...

    BigTen Media Days

Besides UConn's throttling of Louisville in 2013 by 33 points, the 28 point loss by South Carolina was the worst defeat in a women's NCAA championship game. That South Carolina team was the same team that dismantled #1 and previously unbeaten UConn in the second half of the semifinal game. That...

    If Khalia H. commits?

    Where did I say that?

    If Khalia H. commits?

I fully expect her to bring more to the team than you bring to this board - OK that's not fair, even if she doesn't play and is a good teammate she'll add more than you will. Personally, I think she played quite well, considering it was her 1st yr after playing in Alaska. Year 2 should be...

    Iowa Women's Overseas Basketball Trip

Every year, the Iowa women’s basketball team has a golf outing to raise funds to finance their overseas basketball trip. The recent ruling allowing trips to be taken yearly, as opposed to every 4 yrs, has increased the need to raise funds to ensure these trips take place. The trips are a great...

By going to Wisconsin, it seems there probably weren't many, if any, quality options for Deal.

Myslinski or Pieper: Who should/will be our starting center?

Shouldn’t a player play the position that gives the team the best chance to win, not where he projects best at the next level. If the latter, it would seem that the individual is being put above the team if there is a better option at that position.

Myslinski or Pieper: Who should/will be our starting center?

I don’t think that’s what Kyle’s article (at least I think it was his article on the 5 offensive players to watch) said. IIRC, the staff said they want to move Pieper there, but he has had some struggles at center and that they will determine which one gives them the best offensive line. If...
