    BIG 12 SUCKS IN BOWL GAMES.

    I don't think the bowl game results were all that bad for the Big-12 teams. We were the only conference that played only power-5 opponents, (5 of them ranked in the top-25), and in 6 of the 7 games the Big-12 team was lower ranked with TCU being the only higher ranked team.

    I agree with you about that 1971 Sooner/Husker game. It is probably my all-time favorite game, even though OU lost I felt they should have won...... if only Pruitt had finished making that tackle on the TD punt return by Johnny Rodgers, ( which, imo, was the difference maker in the game).

    Big 12's Bowlsby on Conference Expansion

    I've seen a lot of good points made on this subject in this thread, and I agree with a lot of them. The Big-12 definitely does not need to expand if it means adding a couple of schools that will never add to the 'value', (fiscal or prestige), of the conference. I do consider the Big-12 fortunate...
