Washington game EDITED. not yet “sold out”

Anyway, back to the point most were making. It just seems silly for the program when a game is called a sell out and the stadium looks like this instead of actually being full like in the Northwestern and Vtech games last year:

Not sure what you think the number is but each upper deck side has 4,826 seats. 10k as an estimate is close enough for the purposes of the discussion.

How so? I said 10,000 upper deck seats. There are two upper decks that each hold 5,000. That equals the 10,000 I stated.

It's just embarrassing in past games when 8,000 of the 10,000 upper deck seats are empty during a 'sell out' because thousands of freebies were given out.

Rutgers Greed: Not letting water bottles in

People complaining that they cant bring in an unopened water bottle and are forced to pay $6 for a bottle every single game, especially when numerous other facilities allow it, have a legit gripe. Hell, most places let you bring in an empty bottle to fill up inside. Even that would be a huge...

Rutgers Greed: Not letting water bottles in

I get it being annoying but how exactly would they be in a better situation next week? If someone can bring something in, it's coming back the following week so are they supposed to say "hey just don't bring it next week" again? The bigger issue is them being inconsistent but also unreasonable...

Rutgers Greed: Not letting water bottles in

Water bottle situation is beyond annoying but I suspect it has to do with the company they use for concessions rather than Rutgers specifically.

OT: Taylor Swift’s season kicks off tonight

If Lamar could throw to an open receiver it never would have come down to that

    New SHI Stadium Entry Rules

It sounds amazing, and honestly like the type of feature that would never happen at Rutgers lol.

***FINAL DAY FOR SALE -- 60% OFF all new Rivals subscriptions!***

I'm assuming there's no way to be a member on a monthly subscription and get access to the deal, right? I signed up for one month as Hobbs resigned to stay in the loop on anything important.

OT: Official 2024 PGA Tour thread. FedEx time.

TV coverage on Thursday is until 5pm. They tee off at 1:14pm that day. If you figure a 5 hour round, then about 13 holes will get completed on tv before going behind a paywall. Friday's entire round will be behind a paywall. So I guess I'm inflated a bit, but a solid 65% of their rounds won't be...

Sorry.....'behind a paywall'. Most of us in this thread likely have Peacock if you're a golf fan but to the casuals that only watch the majors and don't have a Peacock subscription, you're going to miss 80% of their first two rounds.

Rory/Scottie/Xander grouping getting virtually no tv time is bad work by the USGA

    No, next question.

OT: NFL Might Copy XFL Kickoffs

I think very few people would say that kickoffs or punt returns in general are not exciting. The problem is that every year the NFL passes rules to make less and less incentive to even attempt to return a kickoff, making the play virtually meaningless. An XFL style kickoff can help bring that...
