Maybe I'm not remembering the same play, but when Brennan was falling down and threw the TD we had one guy trying to cover two not the other way around. Either way, it was a lucky break that he even got the ball in the air.
Currently, LSU can have up to 50% of the stadium occupied under the state's phase 2 order.

Today's update from Louisiana. The bit of important info to add is bars were closed at the same time the mask mandate was issued. No other changes to phase II were made. I would say, based on my very limited moving around, we are probably at about 90% compliance with mask usage...
We have definitely started to see a decline in cases in Louisiana since the mandate, but we also closed bars back down which was a big driver in the recent increase. How much is masking, no way to tell, but it certainly doesn't increase the spread so I am all for it.
All the article says is Beckham reached out to make sure this wasn't a violation, but how is a booster gifting players anything not a violation?

Born in New Orleans a have watched (or listened to during the black out years) the Saints my entire life. The entire Cowboy's roster could have been former State players and I would have pulled for the Saints.
I like the idea, but can't see how a revolving system would work. If I hand out the 6 scholarships to others sports, how do I get them back the next year when I don't win a championship? I know they aren't guaranteed for 4 years, but don't see anyone yanking them after 1 year.

Nailed it. The Corps doesn't get to vote on how they open what or when, it is all based on event triggers. The whole system is known as the MR&T and is a direct response to the flood of 1927. If you want to learn a little more about it, feel free to go to the USACE website...
100% agree with you on this one. KT was 13 of 31 against terrible coverage, guys were as open as you could hope for in many cases. I know he was getting some pressure at times, but he just looked unsettled to me. I think his inaccuracy had a lot to do with the play calling later in the game, if...
