    Mallard Creek vs Gaffney 9/8

Btw I’m off topic. Going with the CreekBoys defense always impacts.

    Mallard Creek vs Gaffney 9/8

Once again another “talking point” used to give the Panthers credit being repeated over and over. NC has always had talent it was being held back by the NCHSAA…No Spring ball, no seven on seven, can’t travel out of state to play teams based on static calendar, any sponsorship money had to go to...

    Mallard Creek vs Gaffney 9/8

The “Panthers coming to Charlotte” is always a throw away for me Jerry Richardson didn’t support HS sports at all and only a few of the players had sons who really played. This year was the first time a HS game has been played in BOA Stadium. The population has grown and the influx of people...

    Mallard Creek vs Gaffney 9/8

So are you implying that they are not conditioned?

    Butler vs Weddington

I will take the “Fighting Brian Hales” he will have an offensive game plan that will keep them off balance. He totally confused LH down in Georgia came out with his Buck Sweep Series and physically beat them up early. Hales is one of if not the best play caller in NC and has been at the top for...

    Langston Hughes vs Butler 9/2

Hales hit them with his Buck Sweep series and ran variations off it just like the old days. Butler ultimately was more physical up front particularly in the first half. Great win.

    Buford Ga. @ Mallard Creek

Totally agree with you….what was real apparent last night was the stubborn nature of the Buford OC. Creek runs a 3/5/3 and they do it very well but with a Buford OL that large and opportunities to double team the front three and come off to the second level LB’s they could have run the ball all...

    Buford Ga. @ Mallard Creek

Creek was totally outsized by this team but they outplayed them specifically on defense all night. Got home rushing 3!!! Yes 3!!! 6 sacks and 3 turnovers on huge hits. They made the #1 Qb look like Sam Darnold kid was seeing ghost 😀. As I said in an earlier post playing a team with this kind of...

Ok. He is back under another new name. SMH. Nothing to see here.

    Hough vs Byrnes 8/19

When did you see them in a scrimmage? If so they weren’t playing starters. They have very good size just not athletic at Tackle. Coaches think the measurable means that the tall big kid is a tackle when really he may be a better guard and you should put a smaller quick kid at tackle. You can get...

    Buford Ga. @ Mallard Creek

As much as I would like them to win the overwhelming amount of talent at every position at some point will overwhelm. The lesson is to play your best technique against the speed and power of their execution which will enable them to see the game at an advanced level. You then apply that to the...

    Buford Ga. @ Mallard Creek

They played them last year it is a two year contract. Creek has a history of playing anyone anywhere from the inception of the program. Once the started to dominate no one wanted to play local and across the state line over the last 5 years teams are learning you have to get tested against...

    Hough vs Byrnes 8/19

Hough looks like they have talent but not 1-2 difference makers that jump out like in previous years. OL is big but struggle to pass block which they can work on but a concern. QB looks at the rush very quickly but he was under pressure. Byrnes was about the same….QB play on both sides was...
