    #2 Franklin 21 @ #1 E Lincoln 31 Final

Really great high school football game with both teams laying it all on the line. The way it should be. The home field advantage proved to be the difference in my opinion. Surratt is impressive and the EL defense played awesome. Jeremiah Young is a heck of a football player. Congrats to EL...

    #2 Franklin @ #1 E Lincoln 2AA West Reg Final

Love this article from the Asheville Citizen-Times. We'll see what Franklin has to say tomorrow night. Won't be long now What it means to be 'mountain'

    #2 Franklin @ #1 E Lincoln 2AA West Reg Final

If some of those Franklin teams before 2000 had the coaching staff they do now...look out. It impresses me what a competent, organized, and fiercely competitive staff continues to do at Franklin. They get the most out of the kids and make them believe they can win. Can wait until Friday boys...

    #2 Franklin @ #1 E Lincoln 2AA West Reg Final

The Charlotte Observer saying Franklin gave up 28 pts per game was just a bit off. They actually gave up 11 pts per game this year and a total of 35 in the playoffs in 3 games. Biggest challenge of the year this Friday however This post was edited on 12/2 11:45 PM by tdawg5

    #2 Franklin @ #1 E Lincoln 2AA West Reg Final

Back on topic Franklin will have to create pressure with their front 4 on defense to have a chance stopping EL. Franklin will have to pound the rock on offense and try to play keep away. A turnover here or there could swing this game big time. Did anyone watch the NC State gameplan vs UNC on...

    #2 Franklin @ #1 E Lincoln 2AA West Reg Final

This should be a great one. Contrasting styles undoubtedly but both are really good football teams. Can't wait to watch it

    #2 Franklin 17 vs #6 Monroe 14 Final

RadioCheck, nice work. Hitemhard93, why in god's name would someone from Pisgah pull so hard against Franklin in the state playoffs? That's absolutely ridiculous that you can't find some joy in a fellow conference member having success on the field against teams from down east.

    #2 Franklin vs #6 Monroe RD3

Monroe has indeed produced some players. Impressive list. Are any of the guys on this years team college prospects?

    #2 Franklin vs #6 Monroe RD3

I was wondering - anyone that happened to drive by the practice fields or is in the know - did Franklin even bother to practice this week or are they just chalking this one up as a loss since Monroe is so dominant and favored and has so many athletes?

    #2 Franklin vs #6 Monroe RD3

So back to the game... How is Monroe up front? If Franklin is able to control or at least hold their own on the line of scrimmage then the team speed discrepancy will be less of an issue. That will certainly be Franklin's goal. Smash and smash some more.
