Theresa Grentz talks Hall of Fame with Coquese Washington

Thanks for the links. The Hall of Fame acceptance speeches are available on line. Coach Stringer was one of the "presenters" for Coach Grentz. Also presenters were Coach Cathy Rush and Charles Barkeley. Barkeley seemed to have to help Coach Stringer onto the stage. Coach Stringer did...

    WNBA 2022 season

Laney officially out for the next 8 weeks due to meniscus surgery. At least the Liberty won tonight. But the prospects are dimmer without her. https://www.cbssports.com/wnba/news/libertys-betnijah-laney-to-miss-at-least-eight-weeks-after-undergoing-meniscus-surgery/

    Kahleah Copper article

Great article. Thanks for pointing out. I would not have seen it since Chicago mag is not on my reading list.

    ESPN article on CVS

Voepel has posted an ESPN tribute article - later than the breaking news by Alexa P - but a nice article without the Wicks glitch. I suspect that Voepel may have had another assignment first or had Sat AM off. She covers more than WCBB...

    GA coach Taylor to A&M

Good question. Reportedly Taylor is getting a big pay raise. Not going to be easy at A&M, following a legend, etc. In terms of time, Chelsea has been an assistant long enough that she would be good to move along to a different situation. (Georgia may be looking elsewhere and will cut...

Thread from men's BB board regarding WBB/Sue Bird

Yes. I saw the thread and read part of it but have little patience for the (embarrassing) ignorance. Sue Bird has been in several commercials over the years - I think State Farm is one from more than a year ago. Plus AMEX, CarMax (Bird the Goat) and others that may only play on the West...

WNBA 2021 Season, and how Erica Wheeler, Betnijah Laney, Epiphanny Prince, Kahleah Copper, and Arella Guirantes are doing.

It was a good interview with K. Copper although I was a little bit worried when she took so long to answer the last question. She clearly was thinking hard but she came across as articulate and thoughtful. With regard to the game, I thought it was a pretty rough game and it will be...

WNBA 2021 Season, and how Erica Wheeler, Betnijah Laney, Epiphanny Prince, Kahleah Copper, and Arella Guirantes are doing.

Copper had another great game as did Sloot and Parker so Chicago is going to the Finals! Upsetting the Sun. https://www.espn.com/wnba/game/_/gameId/401370441

WNBA 2021 Season, and how Erica Wheeler, Betnijah Laney, Epiphanny Prince, Kahleah Copper, and Arella Guirantes are doing.

Both Copper and Laney had great games including Laney hitting the shot to tie in last few seconds but Libs lost on a free throw by Turner in last sec. Copper was pivotal for the Sky win but not so dramatic. So, Copper moves on for Chi as well as Vaughn who had very limited action for Phx. In...

WNBA 2021 Season, and how Erica Wheeler, Betnijah Laney, Epiphanny Prince, Kahleah Copper, and Arella Guirantes are doing.

This is very nice to see. There is also a 10 min YouTube video interviewing Laney, DeShields and Arike O as part of the shoot. Betnijah has a few interesting things to say and does mention Rutgers in terms of Cappie. Hope the link works.

OT: Controversial FDA decision, yesterday, to approve Biogen's monoclonal antibody Alzheimer's drug aducanamab

Agree about Hilleman but don't forget Campbell did share the Nobel for his work on ivermectin at Merck. He was back teaching by the time he got it.
