Listening to Matt last night on the spaces thing and I don't think he's that plugged in on football. He said Joe Craft and Vince were "best friends" and he wouldn't be surprised if Joe sent some NIL money Vince's way at UofL. I think Matt's a smart guy but without knowing any of them that may...

He's a groan-*** man, he can do what he wants, To echo Wayne, I don't think a guy who's ability to get HS kids from Ohio to come to UK matter a whole lot in a NIL/transfer portal world.

Cooper Flagg in the NBA: Future All Star, good but not great, a bust considering he was the first pick ?

For all the Duke hype, Kyrie is probably the best(and the most unDuke-Duke player ever) and if Grant Hill didn't have injuries to cut a great career short, I can't really think of any players who were out of this world with a Duke background. I don't know what that will mean for Cooper, if...

    Larry Conley status

Rupp's Runts were before I was born but one of the greatest compliments I can give him as a TV commentator for Jefferson Pilot sports he was as neutral as could be. I had no idea until I was well into my teens and immersing myself in UK history, did I know that he played here. Any bias he...

Some people have a UK man cave but I think if you went into LowerLevelSeatA's home you'd find the basement wall covered in newspaper clippings, photos, strings running to various points about FCPS much like you would in a serial killer's home or at least "Pepe Sylvia" style (that being said, I...

Was Travis Perry the Victim of His own Hardearned Success

It's a bizarre decision but Travis had plenty of opportunity to prove himself this year. I never saw one thing to indicate there was bad chemistry between him and his teammates. He was never exceptional but he could have been a big piece by his junior or senior season. Maybe it's not a...

We had Louisville as our season opener in 1993-94. We won but it was just a weird way to start the season, didn't care for that at all.

Gary Parrish Got It Wrong - Again (Sorry if this has been discussed)

And Davis did it being 4th in minutes or fga or whatever it was that Cal would say. Plus if that was Cooper at the end of the game against UNC, he would have slipped and fell to the floor trying to block Henson's shot in a big , sweaty mess and UNC would have won. C'mon Gary, do better.

Thornbury's in Louisville was a pretty awesome toy store in the '70's and 80's. Hitting Shelbyville Road for Farrell's Ice Cream at Oxmoor, the pet store at Mall St. Matthews, Thornbury's and the big Sears standalone store was a pretty big day.

Someone in Rafters posted that they weren't so sure a significant amount of our NIL isn't coming from the Mormon church to promote Pope and indirectly the spread of the religion. WTF do you even say to that? NIL, how much there is and where it comes from, is a mystery to man. It is up there...

I had a "Buckwheat Sings the Hits" T-shirt I talked my Dad into buying for me as a 13/14 year old. It had the songs listed like "Fee Times a Mady", "The BahBah of DaBill", etc but with the Little Rascals visual rather than the Eddie Murphy one. I wore that shirt out the summer of 1984. My...

I think the "Full Effect" for T-Will was more than a couple of fingers. Indiana basketball has asked if the German Shepherd is in the portal yet.

NIL or not, the only way I understand a kid picking Indiana over Kentucky is if you were born and raised in Indiana and, even then, the normal ones wind up at UK or another school. I haven't known any Indiana grads that weren't odd in some way. The Big Ten, in general, has so many weird sex...
