    Good points. There are HC out there who would obviously be interested in this job. Many assistants most of us know nothing about who could rebuild here. As many have said, this hire needs to be done correctly.

    Concur on the Holbrook statement as well as Kingston. I actually thought Maineri could possibly get things going in a more positive direction. I suppose time will tell on that, time this program doesn't have IMO. I've said before, I think LP was at least spoken to by RT about this job...

    In the past we had enough talented players to overcome short comings of others. It always seemed our "less talented" hitters were very good defensively. IMO, we had players who thrived in most pressure situations.

    I'm thinking today our best chance. AP has pitched against Clemson last year, hoping that gives him confidence. Hoping our bats come alive. It's going to be tough holding a good hitting team down like last night.
