The team he lands with will either make or break him. He desperately needs molding in an organization with stability and patience. He's still very skinny, has bad shot selection, and is inconsistent even for his age. You can tell he hustles and does whatever it takes to win but he can also get...
This is the real problem with Pike. He still wants to run a mostly developmental program while the game has moved on from that model. He's gotta take the lead on fundraising and not let the lack of NIL be an excuse. Sure go ahead and develop a few core guys but he needs money to keep them or...
Like I said on the previous hiring thread, this seems like a plan Z situation. Can’t say I understand how we got to this point or what kind of results to expect but hope Schiano can make it work for a season.
He is what he is at this point. His accuracy isn't gonna be any better in a lesser conference so gotta go to a run heavy option offense. I was also a GT grad student in the Paul Johnson triple option years and he would've been awesome there. They only threw like 10 times a game but it was fun as...
Plenty of reasons for this including those already mentioned but nobody's said anything about how it's an undesirable matchup on a Monday night so it's going to be one of the easiest games for legit season ticket holders to get rid of.
He's rough around the edges and needs a lot of polish to be effective against elite competition but that's also why he's not a 5 star. He also looks nothing like the 275 he was listed at so he definitely got lean and probably still adjusting to his new frame. Hopefully he'll pack on muscle over...
I think he's ahead of schedule. I remember the summer speculation was he needs time to develop before getting serious minutes later in the season. At the very least, he looks like he belongs on the court physically and mentally. He generally knows what he's doing within the team game and he's...
4-0 and is 4-0 and we'd all sign up for this at the beginning of the season. However, I think we all know we need to improve a lot if we're gonna keep it rolling. We're not even close to putting together 4 strong quarters and playing up to our potential. Do that and we're ranked.
First real opponent and we won which is good. VT was successful selling out against the run which is bad. We won because Kaliakmanis was able to be accurate and exploit what he was given. If he keeps that up then teams won't be able to focus on only the running game.
Just got home for the KM td. It's not horrible to have a slow start in the 1st game if we close it out looking like we should. I don't care how good Howard was last year... if we want to be taken seriously as B1G team, we gotta blow them out. Lfg and elevate our game.
Comparing stats in NCAA doesn’t necessarily work because there’s much less parity than in pro sports. No way we can say which QB is better when they’ve both performed poorly. It’ll get sorted out in camp.
I saw a few draft analysts last summer predicting his rise into the late 1st round. That's not gonna happen but he's already played 4 years so absolutely lock it in if he gets the 3rd/4th round projection that most analyst have him in now.
