Is a NIL "salary cap" a viable option

Every time I see Arch Manning in a Warby Parker commercial I think if only NIL was actually what it was intended to be. Who was the greedy one that somehow made NIL pay to play? Now college football has morphed into something that is only recognizable when you compare it to the NFL. I would...

How are we going to be competitive?

I think Campbell made some personnel mistakes and unfortunately, he has decided to ride those mistakes out. The time is really now to find out who is in the 2027 and forward plans. I know people want to be loyal but in today's CFB you have to keep moving or get left behind.

The Other PSU Sport I’m Most Into Is…

College Sports is getting tougher and tougher for me in general. To much player movement and the misapplication of NIL money has really turned me off. Now having athletes in court trying to get more eligibility is pushing me away even more. If I had to select it would be football.

    Steve Jones says it's fixable

I hate to pile on Becht but I think a mistake was made at the QB position They say he is 6'1" but I would be surprised if he is 5'10". He is a 60% passer that is was a mediocre starter on a mediocre team. The faster you move on the faster the things will change.

    2026 Steelers Thread

They couldn't win the public relations battle with Porter. If they don't pay him, they are being too cheap. If they pay him what he wanted it was a huge overpay. It will be interesting to see if Dallas extends him or lets him walk after 2006.

    OT: R.I.P Hayden Panettiere

South Park had a great take on this several years ago with Brittany Spears. The gist was that we anoint a young female star raise her up and then tear them down until they are dead to satisfy the ancient blood lust. Then the next ones is named. In the episode it went from Brittany to Miley...

OT: I have my thoughts, but which movie was funnier?...

I think if you watch both Animal House and Caddyshack from a "movie" perspective they are both pretty terrible. If you watch them for gags they both work. Many more comedies that are much better.

    OT: 25 Years Ago.

I was prepping to go to a Substantial Completion inspection of a project that was wrapping up near Lewistown. My wife called and said a plane flew into the World Trade Center. Information was pretty thin at the time. In my office we had a small TV that we watch CCTV Inspection of sewer lines. My...
